Q: I can't find the image directory.
A: The directory that GBU Facebook uses is media/stories/GBUFacebook.
Q: I still can't find the image directory.
A: It should be automaticly created during the installation. However, something might have prevented this. You can solve it by manually creating the directory, using the Joomla media manager
Q: The input is not checked in any way.
A: Since the contacts can only be added in the backend, this means that only a website administrator can do this. Not visitors. I think its safe to assume that any administrator knows what he, or she, is doing and won't mess around.
Q: GBU Facebook does not create thumbnails, it simply scales the pictures with HTML.
A: Correct, this worked sufficiant for me. In the installation message I advise to manually scale the pictures to 180x240. If you want GBU Facebook to scale the pictures for you, feel free to provide a patch ;-)
Q: The character encoding is messed up, when I open it in a spreadsheet.
A: Make sure you tell your spreadsheet software (Like Calc, Excel, or something else) to use the encoding of your website. In most cases, this will be UTF-8 encoding
Q: The import and export functions don't work.
A: Make sure the webserver (like Apache) has write access to the Joomla tmp directory.
Q: When importing an earlier exported backup, everything is messed up.
A: I noticed that sometimes the seperator between the fields becomes a ; while this should be a , I have not yet figured out why this is. I solved it by doing a simple find-and-replace, where I replace all the ; with a ,
